Terms & Conditions

"You" refers to the school administrator who registers a school, and to any teacher or staff member subsequently invited to that school's Passcript account. A school administrator is responsible for the accuracy of data entered and for managing which staff have access.

Passcript provides tools for score entry, approval workflows, result computation, result PDF generation, and delivery of results to parents/guardians, along with related school administration features. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

You're responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. School administrators control who is invited as a teacher and can revoke access at any time. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to an account.

Your school retains ownership of all data it enters into Passcript — student records, scores, results, and staff information. We process this data to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of data you enter, including having any necessary parental consent for student data your school manages.

• Passcript offers a Free plan with usage limits, and paid plans (Starter, Growth, Pro, Institution) billed monthly or yearly.
• Paid plans are billed in advance via Paystack. Prices are shown in Naira at checkout before you confirm payment.
• Plan changes take effect once payment is confirmed; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Branded-report and parent-email limits reset automatically at the start of each calendar month; student count limits apply continuously and don't reset.
• Refund requests are considered case by case — contact us before or shortly after a charge if something's wrong.

You agree not to:

• Use Passcript to store or process data you're not authorized to hold (e.g. another school's records without permission)
• Attempt to bypass plan limits, rate limits, or access controls
• Use the platform to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the platform without our written agreement
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise the security of the service

We aim to keep Passcript available and reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance or third-party outages (e.g. our email or payment providers) may occasionally affect availability.

You may request deletion of your school's account at any time from Settings, which starts a 30-day grace period before permanent removal. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where practical.

Passcript is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform, including data entry errors made by school staff. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to school administrators by email before taking effect.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
